From there, you’ll cross into Uganda to discover the serene beauty of Lake Mutanda, one of Africa’s most beautiful lakes, and embark on the ultimate wildlife experience: gorilla trekking. The trip continues to Buhoma, on the edge of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where you’ll join a women’s group for a traditional dance workshop and cooking class.
In Queen Elizabeth National Park, you’ll enjoy both game drives and a private boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, as well as a visit to the inspiring Kyambura Women’s Coffee Cooperative. Next, you’ll venture into Kibale Forest for chimpanzee trekking and a scenic swamp walk, before heading north to Murchison Falls National Park. Here, you’ll experience multiple safaris and a breathtaking private boat cruise to the base of the mighty falls.
On the way back, you’ll stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where white rhinos are being successfully reintroduced to Uganda — completing your Big Five safari adventure. The trip concludes in Entebbe. Throughout the journey, you’ll travel in comfortable extended Land Cruisers and stay in handpicked, upscale mid-range lodges set in some of Uganda’s most spectacular locations.
